You were looking for info on the Ullery family. Here's a great source.
I have indexed the book "The Story of Portage Prairie" by Alma Vite Hartline.
The Ullery family is listed on pages: 13, 27, 28, 29, 34, 119, 155, 301,
339, 345, 348, 377, 380, 381, 382, 393.
This book is 440 pages, and I have completed the index through page 425.
Only 15 pages remaining. So you might want to scan through the final 15 pages
for any Ullery's.
This book is an excellent source for genealogical data. She specifies dates,
places and relationships, marriages, births, deaths, etc. I wouldn't take
her dates as gospel, as I've found they are very close, but not exact to the
vital records on file in Stevensville. She does not provide source information
for any of her information, so I advise you to verify what you find. My
experience has been that most of what she has is good information, but there are
errors. I've used what she has as a starting place to find documentation for it.
I don't know where you are located, but this book can be found at the
Buchanan Public Library in Buchanan, Michigan; Niles Public Library in Niles,
Michigan; and is on microfilm through the Family History Library, film #1697798 Item
4.
The Ullery's are part of my family line as well. However, I haven't fully
reviewed the information. I can help if you have specific questions.
