Three Oaks, MI, Opal M. KRIEGER, 73, of 5802 Indian Trail Road, Three Oaks, died April 27, 1995, in Mercy Memorial Medical Center, St. Joseph. She had been ill. She was born July 30, 1921, in Elkhart. As Opal M. DENNY, she married Chester KRIEGER on Feb. 1, 1941, in Elkhart. She had lived in Three Oaks since 1943. Surviving with her husband are two daughters, Sue KNUTH of Berrien Springs and Patricia ROSENFELD of Bakersfield, Calif.; a son, Dennis of Sawyer, Mich.; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A son, Thomas, died in 1958. Services were April 30 (1995), at the church, with burial in Riverside Cemetery, Chickaming Township, north of Three Oaks. The Boyd Funeral Home of Bridgman was in charge of arrangements. Mrs. KRIEGER was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Sawyer, its choir and Ladies Aide. She retired in 1985 from the Heath Company in St. Joseph.
