Feb 5, 1929 - June 25, 1995 - Niles, services for Mamie Elizabeth HAND, 66, of 1537 Superior St., who died at 1:17 p.m. Sunday in her home of natural causes, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Pifer-Smith Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mission Hills Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 1 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice at Home or First Church of Christ Christian. Mrs. HAND retired from Simplicity Pattern Co. She was born Feb. 5, 1929, in Madeline, W. Va. On June 2, 1947, in Johnson City, Tenn., she married Wilton K. HAND. He survives with a daughter, Connie Walter WHITAKER of Niles; two sons, Ronnie of Lima, N.Y., and Donnie of Niles; four grandchildren; a great-grandchild; five sisters, Ruth BOWLIN and Barbara Ann HARRELL, both of Niles, June ROPER of Sevierville, Tenn., Helen COMMENS of Phil Campbell, Ala., and Wilma DOTSON of Haleyville, Ala.; and a brother, Tommy Blane BOWLIN; of Niles. She was a member!
