I have a Joseph Beckwith SHATTUCK b. 24 Sept 1815 m. Angeline BAKER b. 16 Mar 1817 Pompey, Onondaga Co., N.Y. had several children including Sarah Angeline b. 5 Apr 1855 and she had Matie ROSQELL. The last name is hard to read in the 1884 Probate of Addison Elton BAKER who was Angelines brother. Angelines and Addison's father was Nathan BAKER son of Rev. Nathan BAKER who was a Baptist minister in Pompey. Angeline moved to Calhoun Co., MI as her father Nathan BAKER moved to Battle Creek and later Burlington, MI. NATHAN BAKER and Mahala SHATTUCK had many children who moved to Calhoun Co., MI. Nathan and his second wife are buried in Abscota Cemetery just outside of Union City, Calhoun Co., MI. Mahala SHATTUCK BAKER died in Genesee Co., N.Y. and is buried there. Her stone can be found on the genweb.
