Never a truer statement, "don't believe that a tree is ever finished"....

I'm forever collecting information & pictures anyone has to offer on my
tree...

If your family lived or passed through Boyne Falls, Michigan during the
1880s, 1890s or 1900s, they more than likely made contact with my great
grandfather, James D. Mitchell, who was the Village Blacksmith.

Perry A. Mitchell, born, October 24, 1890 in Boyne Falls, Michigan, one of
eight sons & one daughter of James & Mary A. (Coleman) Mitchell, married Grace
Nellie Davis, born October 26, 1898 in Hudson Township, Michigan, the youngest
child of Amasa Gilbert & Bertha F. (Wangeman) Davis.

Note: Perry had one of the first U.S. Mail deliveries in the area....

Bertha F. immigrated to Charlevoix County with father, Oscar D. Wangeman,
mother, Caroline "Jenny" (Saxon), sister, Anna, & brother, Frank H. from Germany.

Anyone who could help with information and/or pictures of my family would be
much appreciated.

Best Regards,
M. Richard Mitchell

In researching other lines of my family, I have been able to locate
photos of my ancestors that I would have never otherwise found. So I
don't believe that a tree is ever finished. I also help decendants of
the other lines of my tree with their branches of the tree, which works
out well for every one. It is the true sharing of information, and
helpfullness to others that keeps me searching
