Hi, Marj,
I'm so happy to find someone new who is related. Marvel is actually Marie.
She has just been called Marvel since birth, I think. Something about the
doctor recording the births several days later, and not remembering the exact
names. Her brother Norman, I think at 18, got his birth certificate, and
discovered his name was listed as Rufus!
Please, I'd love some names in order to figure out how we are exactly
connected.
Do you still live in Cheboygan now? You are almost the same age as my Joe
was, being born in 1948. I know there were two Joe Enos's that age in
Cheboygan. The other one married a Barbara, and stayed in Cheboygan. My Joe, and his
mom and grandma and others, moved to Utica for employment for many years, and
then Marvel moved back to the family farm when she retired. She died May 20th.
Joe was in Cheboygan until he served in Viet Nam, and then stayed in Macomb
and Oakland County outside Detroit, until he died in January of 1977, at 28. I
was pregnant when he died. Our son, Joe Enos, is 29, living outside Detroit,
with a beautiful wife Erika and three children, 6, 4, and almost 1.
I knew most of Erma, Bob, and Sybil's children way back too.
