I am looking for a Peter Melbow (Milbout) who died in around 1908. I am also looking for his wife, Mary or Marie, who died around 1911. A family member, a daughter, told me the name is Melbow, however, finding them on the 1910 census, in Amberg Township, Marinette County, Wisconsin, the name is spelled Milbout. Peter drowned in the river some time when daughter Philamena was around age 3. This would put the year near 1908. He is not on the 1910 census. He was found 8 days later so it is unknown what county he was in at the time. Mary (name is Mary on 1910 census), Philamena gave me a name of Marie, probably died in Iron Mountian Michigan in the hospital there. Would appreciate any info such as death records, place of burials and/or newspaper obits to pass on the Philamena who will soon be 98 years old.
