I, too, have found variations in the spellings of the names. Unfortunately, I have not been able to make connections. "My" Frank (Andrew) POQUETTE was born in Canada in 1848, and immigrated around 1881. He married Lucille Amelia BELONGIA in 1873. I did find several of the POQUETTE'S etal, in Nadeau and Spalding, and I do know at one time they lived in the Nadeau area. Their daughter Melvina, born in Canada in 1876, married Adelore/Delore PICHETTE (born 1872 in Canada). Their marriage took place in Menominee in 1896. Most of the info I have is from obituaries and census reports. I have not been to the northern Menominee cemeteries, however I do have listings of the burials at most of them (available on CD from WPGS). I was not aware Escanaba had a research center. Thanks again for your assistance.
