I checked the IGI and noticed two things.
1. The entry for Isobella is a Christening. That doesn't mean that she was
born close to that date. She could have been several days, months or years
old at that time.
2. On the list of children of William Inglis and Isobella High, I saw two
occasions of two children being Christened at the same time - 1773 and
1784.
Don't forget that there was a fee for entering the Christening into the
Parish Records, so many families did it when they could afford it.
