Hello List,

William GILMOUR married Margaret THOMSON and had 10 children born in
Airdrie, New Monkland, and in Old Monkland. I believe William died between
1866 and 1871 as Margaret appears in West Calder as a widow with some of her
children.
Here are the children and the spouses I know of:
Robert b~1841 married Margaret Barnes/Barons
Mary b 1842 married William Baird
Isabella b1844 married Joseph Pearson
Margaret b 1847
Alexander b~1849 married Margaret Balmer (he was a police officer)
Adam b~1851 married Margaret Stewart
Helen born 1854
William born 1857
Catherine born 1860
Mary Ann born 1866

On the 1881 census Isabella and Robert and their families are at Muirhouse
Dykes, West Calder. Margaret Gilmour/Sayers ms Thomson died 1899 at 39
Simpson St. Addiwell, West Calder.
