I have been researching my husband's MILLAR/KINLOCH lines and have made many
connections that I would like to share.. I have found far flung KINLOCH
relations but no MILLARS..

MILLAR I have traced back to East Lothian.. Haddington
Alexr. MILLAR and Eliz. THOMPSON had family of 7 born in early 1800's..
of these, John MILLAR b. 1807 m 1831 Mary LAWSON in Linlithgow
their known children.. Alexander b. 1833, Elizabeth b. 1834, John b. 1836,
Stephen b.1838, Anne b. 1839, Mary Lawson b. 1842, Margaret b. 1846, Allison
b. 1850
from this family..
Alexander m. ? and had children John, Alexander, Catherine, Elizabeth
John m. Agnes KINLOCH 1859 in Bo'ness, Linlithgow (my husband's line)
6 children born Bo'ness 1853-1879..
Stephen m. Ann MCGREGOR and had 8 children born in Linlithgow
Anne m John DALRYMPLE with family of 7 children all born in Carriden
Mary Lawson m. John BRAES in Linlithgow with family of 12 children..

on the KINLOCH side...
Wm KINLOCH b. 1796 in Linlithgow. parents Henry KINLOCH and Jean FINLAY
m. Jane YOUNG abt 1820 and had following children in Bo'ness..
Henry 1822, James Young 1824, Barbara 1826, William 1829, Alexander 1833,
Jane 1836, Helen 1838, Agnes 1840 Janet 1845, Ann 1848
James Young m. Jane SIMPSON in Bo'ness and had family of 6 girls:
Margaret, Jane, Barbara, Jeanie Young, Helen, Agnes
Barbara m Thomas GRAVES in Bo'ness with 2 known children: Robert, Barbara
William m. Margt. CHALMERS in Bo'ness with 7 children: Jane Hamilton,
William, Margaret, James, John, Alexander Livingston, Elizabeth Mary (Elizabeth m.
Liston KIRKWOOD and emmigrated to Canada)
Jane m. John SHIELDS with 8 children born in Linlithgow or Bo'ness
John, David, James, Henry, Agnes, Alexander, Robert Y K, George
Helen m. James ALLAN with 7 boys born in Bo'ness 1861-1881
William K, John, Robert, Alexander, Thomas, James R, Henry K.
Agnes m. John MILLAR.. see above
Janet m. John Smart JEFFREY with 4 children born in Bo'ness 1874-1880
John, Jean Young, William Kinloch, Robert R.
Ann m. John BRYCE with family of 8 b 1870-1889
Jane Young, William Kinloch, John, Henry James, Annie H., Barbara Kinloch,
Laurence Leslie, Nora Elizabeth.. (this line is also well documented down to
English branch)

John MILLAR and Agnes KINLOCH married in Bo'ness in 1859
of their children..

William b. 1865 no information
Mary Lawson b. 1867 m. David REEDIE (my husband's grandparents.. came to
NY, USA.. abt 1907 with 7 children)
John b. 1871 no information
Helen Kinloch b 1879 m. Thomas PATE 3 children Thomas, Janet, Nancy
