From what I can see from www.old-maps.co.uk this seems to have been The
Royal Edinburgh Asylum in 1855, now I think called The Royal Edinburgh
Hospital, although the correct address for this is 23,Tipperlinn Road.

Can anyone help please.
My grandad (Andrew Kirk) died in 1956 at 15 Tipperlinn Road Edinburgh.
Can anybody tell me if this was a hospital as I cannot understand why he
would be there!

If so what is/was the name of the hospital?
