I'm looking for some advice on where to start looking for my 4th great
grandfather William Pratt. I know he was married to Euphemia Stewart, she
may have been married previously. Their son Robert was born about 1806-
1810 in Leith. Robert's death record lists his fathers occupation as Pilot.
Where would I look for records regarding ships pilots in the Leith area in
that time period?
