Hi Mark,
This will seem redundant, since it's going on the list, but have you tried
Scotland's People? (http://www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk). It is the online
version of the General Register Office for Scotland. Fantastic pay-per-view
site, and very reasonably priced (as long as you don't spend hour on hour,
like I do!) Hope this helps,
Leslie

I am trying to trace any decendants of my Great Grandfather (John
Cameron) who moved to Leith in the first decade of the 20th Century.
His wife was Annie (nee Bird) and the children that I am aware of are
Christine Jane and Lewis Christopher as well as my Grandfather James
Russell Cameron. I believe there may have been other children. My
Great Grandfather is shown as Bowling Green Keeper on his D.C in 1950
living at 45 Bangor Road. His son Lewis (then living at London Row) was
informant of the death.
If anyone has any information they can share I’d be delighted to hear
from them.
Regards
Mark
