Hi Ruth,

This is called Register of Corrected entry. There may be an addition or
correction to the original death certificate. Especially with a suicide something
may have been added after a coroner'sinquest. You could maybe send to the
Public Record office for a copy, or if you have patience, these records are to be
posted on scotlandspeople.gov sometime this summer.
