Kathy: Have you considered that they might have been brothers or father and
son, or for thast matter another group with the same name. In my case there
are four known families which imigrated around the same time from Soctland
to America. We think they might have known each other or were related.
Remember the first arrivals ofter sent back letters to
Scotland/England/Germany telling them about the good prospects here etc. In
your case just as I and others have done, you must try and follow both lines
until you prove which one is yours.
