I thought I might jump in with this message as I have Flemings, Todd, and
what I think is Ormond names among my lot being,-
Rachel Tod married Thomas Grieve 24/04/1805 Inverkeithing, Fife and their
daughter Jean/Jane married James Cuthill 31/07/1836 in Kinross before moving
to Midlothian.
Agnes Fleming married Robert Henderson 04/05/1805 at Currie MID.
Christina Ormond Richardson was born 20/11/1895 at Roslin MID.
I'm particularly interested in the use of Ormond as my ancestors were big in
using maiden names as middle names for their children but I am yet to find
where this one came from.
Cheers, Jennie Fairs,

I can't find it online, can't find it anywhere, but there were 8 families
from the same area that came to Canada on Alfred. Besides the ones I
mentioned, there were also Todd's and Arniston"s (could that be Ormiston??).
What is your Fleming connection?
Miles
