Hello, Have only been researching a few months. This is the first time I
have posted to a list.

Married 1854, Newton on Ayr, Ayrshire.

Children: JAMES b.1854 Newton,Ayrshire D.1930 Douglas
Water,Lanarkshire.
MARY b.1858 Stevenston,Ayrshire
ROBINA SMITH b.1860 Dalrymple Ayrshire
JOHN b.1863 Bathgate, West Lothian
ANN JANE 1865 Bathgate, West Lothian
DAVID KERR FINLAY b.1868 Bathgate,West Lothian
MARGARET b.1872 Whitburn, West Lothian

JAMES BOYD (ggrandfather) Married in 1878 at SHOTTS,lANARKSHIRE to
ELIZA SHIELDS b.Ireland. d. 1899 Dykehead,Shotts,Lanarkshire

Children: All born at Calderhead,SHOTTS,Lanarkshire. Maggie 1880, Mary
1882, Sarah 1884,Robina 1885, John 1887, James 1890, Hugh 1893, Peter
Shields 1896. Their marriages:
Maggie 1904 to James YOUNG. Mary unmarried. Sarah to W McCord. Robina to
William DOWNIE.John ?
James to Grace TOY. Hugh 1917 to Margaret LINDSAY(grandparents) Peter to
Elizabeth DARLING.
Mary, her brothers and their families emmigrated to NSW Australia in 1926.
Any information on these families would be much appreciated.
