Is there anyone else connected to the family of Thomas Johnston(e) and Jane Thomson who were living at 24 Salisbury Street, Edinburgh in 1820 when their daughter Jane married John Sinclair? Becuse of the common names, I have been unable to trace any more of their family. Their names and address were on Jane's banns of marriage certificate, and the same names were on her death certificate. Thomas is descibed as a "crofter" - an odd job living in the city!
