Alexander Nicholson was a merchant in Edinburgh 1820 .He had died by 1849 when his daughter Mary was married. Mary was baptised at Canongate 1821.
I would like to find out when Alexander died and if any directories would mention the type of Merchant that he was.
Appreciate any help or contact with Anyone connected to Alexander Nicholsons family.
