Greetings cousins

I'm trying to track John WELSH, later living in Cornwall (age 37 in
the 1861 Census) and calling his daughter Sarah. One possibility is
the oldest son in this family, at 60 Northumberland St. Does anyone
know them?

WELSH Mrs, F, 40, born Outside County,
J M, Male, 16, born Midlothian,
Mary, 11; Sarah, 10; Robert, 8; Annabella, 6; Grace, 4.
They have May, Miss, 45, living with them, and two female servants,
both aged 20. (Catherine Duncan & Margaret Veitch.)

In the 1851 Census there is a Mary Welsh, 21, born Midlothian, Ratho.
The others have apparently gone.

Could I assume Mrs Welsh was marrying in about 1822 / 24, to have a
son aged 16? (I'd like to find her first name . . .)

Any other ideas or suggestions gratefully received.

Solvitur ambulando - it is solved by walking. And now all you have to
do is work out what the problem was in the first place.
