I would like to make contact with descentants of Jean Ballantine/yne
born 1836 perth. She married Peter Monteith in 1862 at Perth.
For additional birth, death & marriage information.


Jean Ballantine/yne parents were John Ballantine/yne and Jane Barclay
from Perth,Perthshire.

Their family was as follows;

1/Jane Monteith, born 6July,1862 Perth
2/William Monteith, born 17 February, 1865 Perth
3/Helen Sophia Ballantine Monteith, born 4 April 1866, Perth
4/Jessie Monteith, born 27July,1868 Perth
5/Barbara Monteith, born 8 November, Perth
6/James Gibson Monteith, born 28 March, 1873 Perth
7/John Monteith, born abt 1876, Perth
9/Annie Monteith, born abt 1878 Edinburgh

William Monteith is not shown on any Scotland census.
Jane Ballantine/yne/Monteith is only shown on the 1871
census, on the 1891 census Peter Monteith is remarried-
wife name Agnes.
On the 1891 census I found John Monteith at "Wellington
Reformatory Farm School" , address near Penicuik, Midlothian.

I hope there is a descentant that can help.
