Found the reference to the marriage of James NISBET, brassfounder. St.
Cuthberts OPR. Elizabeth MASON, only daughter of late Robert Mason, weaver, E.
Leith. Married 13 November 1853.

!) it says only daughter which sort of kills the idea that she was the sister
of James' first wife Catherine Mason. Still could be a cousin? Or just
coincidence?

2) it says Robert Mason of E. Leith. Since most of my records are hand
copied, it could be my error and the record could have said E. Lothian. Or not.
