I have been putting all the information in my tree to see how it all fits.
I would just like to confirm whose who in the modern day Laing line up.

Marie is in Alberta and is connected to James Laing/Barbara Brant. Marie
who were James parents?
Jean is in Australia and is connected to Christian b 1811 daughter of
William Laing and Jean Adamson
Bob is in Ontario and is doing research for his sister-in-law and she is
connected to David Laing, c1857
Faye is in Canada, the sympatico.ca indicates that, and is related to
Elizabeth and James Robertson Laing b 1807
Gretchen is in Michigan and is connected to Elizabeth Laing Archibald, b.
1820 through second marriage to Alexander Baptie
I am in Ontario, connected to Robert Laing, b 1877 who married my great aunt
Cecilia Dempster Aitken in 1921
Toni? Where do you fit in. Are you related? or were you just kindly
explaining the relationship to Gretchen?
