Subject: [MIDLOTHIAN] The McDonald's 1851 Census
Date: Fri, 16 May 2008 09:10:26 -0700
Hi Listers,
On the 1851 Census, my family of Thomas and Ann McDONALD lived at 16 Bell's Wynd in the New North Parish, Edinburgh, with two lodgers, and they originally came from Roscommon, Ireland between 1847-48.
Living at the same address is the family of Richard and Mary EGAN, with a son James and Mother-in-Law Eleanor McDONALD. This family also came from Ireland.
My question, is it possible that both families are related to each other, or is it just wishful thinking on my part?
Any help would be appreciated, Thank You,
John, Pitt Meadows, BC, Canada.
