In the 1891 Census there are 5 Duckenfields, all born Fisherrow, Inveresk
boarding with a family of Ritchies at 213 7 High Street, Musselburgh.

The Ritchie family is headed by Edward Ritchie (45), a fisherman. He is
married to Christina Ritchie (43). Living with them are their children
Maggie (19), Edward (13), Alexander (8) and Marion (6).

The Duckenfields are: John (24), Thomas (22), George (20), Charles (18), and
Beatrice (13). Perhaps one of these Duckenfields married a Grace Ritchie,
sister of Annie and Edward Ritchie that you mentioned in your email. The age
of this Edward Ritchie matches with the one in your email.

It looks as if there may have been a number of fisher familiies called
Ritchie in Musselburgh, using many of the same first names.
