Volunteers have been transcribing the censuses and the results of all their hard work are to be found at the above url. not every place has been transcribed, nor every year. There is a dropdown box allowing you to choose which year you wish to ersearch
sometimes it pays to put in less info rather than more.

so start off with a surname and county.
