I may have found Marion and the children on the Hibernia which departed from Glasgow and arrived in
New York on 30 Aug 1866. Here is what is listed:

Mrs. M(?) McIntosh, 32, female, Scotland
Janet McIntosh, 11, female, Scotland
B. McIntosh, 9, female, Scotland
Alex McIntosh, 6, male, Scotland
Thos McIntosh, infant, male, Scotland

I assume that B. McIntosh is the daughter Beatrice listed on the 1861 census with the family in East
Dalkeith, Midlothian.

I couldn't find a definitive entry for John.

I'll send you the passenger list for the rest of the family off list.

Subject: [MIDLOTHIAN] re Ships leaving UK for America

Hi Listers,

I too am looking for ships leaving the UK for America specifically in the year 1866, but maybe 1865
- 1867,
John McIntosh (1831) and wife Marion (1834) plus family Janet (12) , Alexander( 7) and Thomas
McIntosh (1), who went to Ohio

Thank you for any information you can provide

Bill Scott
