Good morning listers, really need help with my Thomas Davis born Enville, Staffs about 1845, engine driver by the 1881 census. I don't know the area at all so
1. Would Enville come under Wolverhampton or Dudley on the GRO Index please?
2.What was the name of the local railway company?
3.Forlorn hope, but anyone have Thomas in their tree? He went to Long Eaton, Derbyshire by 1881, having been married twice. First to Ann from Northampton and secondly to Clara from Spratton, Northants, so possibly lived in that area too.
