That Burroughs family, if living on Court St. in those days must be from the
Burroughs family, quite prominate. I wonder if he would be buried on Beecher
Road in Glenwood Cem. James Polk Burrought owned one of the first gristmills
in Flint in 1872,it was burned in 1879, rebuilt and buned again.. This
family was one of the first to settle Flint, the first settlers were probably
from NY or New England. If you still think it might be Grand Blanc, you
should try Perry-McFarlen Cemetery in Grand Blanc Twp. Joan
