Joan,
As far as I know we have no James Polk Burroughs in our line. Ethan Burroughs Jr.
was born in Ferrisburg,Addison Co.Vermont and the Burroughs family there was
quite prominent farmers & landholers. According to his death record he had only
been in Flint for 4 years, and was listed as a farmer & carpenter. His widow was
still living at Court street according to Flint Ciy directory in1888.
I have no knowledge of the city of Flint and it's neighborhoods, what can you tell
me about Court Street?
Thanks for the cemetery input..I'll check both.
