MEMORIAL

On May 26th, 2001 my Mother, Mrs. Joyce Mary (Fox) Houser, died at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She was born on February 9th, 1922 in Alma, Michigan, the daughter of Helen Viola Fox and granddaughter of Miley Edgar and Effie May (Harrier) Fox of St. Louis, Michigan. She was born at 9:30 p.m. and was adopted the following morning, the arrangements having been made some time before her birth. She was buried on May 27th, 2001 at the Monette Cemetery in Monette, Arkansas. My father, Miles Morgan Hambleton, and her second husband Gerald Raymond Houser preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. James (Joyce) Whitten, and her son-in-law, James Whitten of Monette, Arkansas.

I am her only child and have cared for her for 9 years while she suffered from emphysema, asthma, congestive heart failure and diabetes. She is at peace.
