Ransom - Harry Crampton, 71, retired farmer of 1210 Bird Lake Road, died Saturday night at Thorn Hospital in Hudson following a long illness. He was born in Frenchtown, Illinois, April 14, 1892, son of Eugene and Kate Derbyshire Crampton. He is survived by his wife, the former Jennie Edinger, to whom he married in 1939; a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Wilma) Kurtz, Pioneer; a step-son, Kenneth Day, Osseo, and seven grandchildren. The body of Mr. Crampton will be taken to the Pleasant View Church at 1, Tuesday afternoon from the family home to the Pleasant View Church, where the funeral will be at 2. The Rev. Walter Linebrink will officiate, assisted by the Rev. William Ensminger. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery. The body will be taken to the Crampton home this afternoon from the Eagle Funeral Home.
