1870 census shows a William Mingus with Enoch and Susan Mingus with another son Charles in Camden Township.

1880 census shows a William Mingus in Montgomery Township with wife Margaret and children Edith, Lester, and James.

There is a marriage record Dec 23, 1919 in Hillsdale for a William Mingus born 1887 in Indiana - father William Mingus and mother Margaret Kingsley. The witnesses were from Angola, Indiana. He married a Nina May Smith. Possibly this William is another son of the previous William and Margaret Mingus.
