Hannes Carlson of the Pilgrim Dist. died Sat. after after a lingering illness at age 76. He was born in Waasa Finland and came to the U.S. over 50 years ago. First to New York and for the last 41 years on his farm in Pilgrim.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs Richard Hingakoski of Portage Entry, Mrs Earl Barnes and Mrs Wm. Belkola of Detroit.Six Sons, Harry of Painesdale, Albert of Detroit, Edward of Trimountain,William of Detroit , Theodore of Royal Oak and Raymondof Pilgrim.18 grandchildren,one g.grandchild. three sisters, Mrs Ada Jacobson, Mrs Irnen Equist and Mrs Ida Tegalman, New York and one brother Ernest Carlson of Hurontown, Services on Thursday 2pm at the Hancock Apostolic Church by Rev. W. Karvonen, interement at Forest Hill Heikkila Funeral Home
