I know that calumet is in Houghton county I meant to say that I wasn't sure if Calumet has vital records but Houghton Does. I live in Laurium and work at MTU and I am always in the Courthouse and the archives at least once a week for people who have been hiring me to copie and look up records. I was trying to help the lady yesterday who wanted to visit calumet and have records looked up in calumet and I don't know of anything in calumet to look up so I replied by saying that Houghton county courthouse has records to look up Death, marriage and Naturalization and the MTU Archives house a whole lot of information and I put the web page on the archives so she could prepare before coming to Calumet. But I couldn't post an answer to her yesterday it wouldn't take my posts.?? but it took new ones so I posted the new one. I Hope this post is a clearer one. If this posts then I can try to answer hers again.
