I was able, thanks to a worker at the Saginaw public library, of all
places, to find Christian Reichle, the husband. He is in St Lorenz in
Saginaw county, listed as dying the exact date that my family records
claimed.

Now, I still need to find Hannah/Johanna Reichle, his wife, who died
between 1855 and 1880, as near as I can make out. It could very well be
in Huron that she died, because the son married in Huron in 1879.

When did deaths in Huron stop being recorded in Sanilac county?

best,
Paul
