Here's the e-mail address of Jamie Stornant Emerick, a good friend of mine who can help you (). I asked her if she knew who you were looking for and she sent me three e-mails with the following information. I told Jamie that I would give you her e-mail address and I gave her yours. Good luck!!

E-mail #1. Gloria Stornant-Maltby is/was the mother of the young man who came and sat with us at Carmen's the day we
sat there. The restaurant is named after Gloria's father, Carmen.

Frances' maiden name was Save. She and Carmen came from Messina, Sicily, Italy.

Gloria's siblings are all that you named. You are right, there is a brother Carmen for sure. He is still alive and lives in Ann
Arbor. Joseph, James, Teresa and Gloria have all died.

I have sent an e-mail to Louise to see if she has the birth/death dates that you are looking for. I will let you know if I get a
response. I only remember that Grandpa Carmen died in 1962. I think that would make Frances' death around 1964.
Theresa died somewhere around 1959, Joseph somewhere around 1982, James in 1997, and Gloria in 1999.

Mary married Theodore Palmer and now lives in a senior center in Holt; has 3 children, Ronald, Pamela, and Theodore.
Ronald lives in Okemos, Pamela lives in Leslie, and Theodore lives in St. Augustine, FL.

Louise married Richard Schiavetti and now lives in Lansing with her son, Rick (Richard)during the summer and Palm Beach
Gardens, Fl, with her daughter Elena (Burgess) during the winter.

There are many Samuel Stornants. This Sam Stornant married Betty (?) and lives in Lansing; 3 children, Mark (died around
1996 or so), Lisa (Higgins), Michael.

Thomas married Ann Nico; Still lives in Lansing. 10 children; 1 (David) died back in the very late '50's/early '60's).
Claudia (Hank Lotozinski(sp), Dionne Reynolds, Thomas (Mary Ellen) of Portland, MI, Stephanie (Alonzo Coller, MD),
East Lansing, Steve, Lansing, Paul, Lansing, Mary Sue (Russ) Lansing, Michael, Grand Rapids area, Amy (?), Lansing.

Carmen married Elaine (?) and lives in Ann Arbor; 3 children; Judy Johnson (John), Susan (Jim) Howard, Christine
Stornant, all of Ann Arbor.


E-mail #2. Joseph married Marge (?); 4 children; Joseph II (nicknamed Igor), died in the '90's of Agent Orange complications. Brent
(died in the '80's when he took his own life and that of his son shortly before Christmas somewhere near Grand Haven or
Holland, MI), Timothy, died just a couple of years ago; not sure of what. Linda Filice (Steve), still lives in Lansing as does
Marge.

Theresa married Arnold Henschel in the '50's and lived in Habor Beach; died in late '50's as the result of an auto accident;
had 3 children at the time Julie, Paul, Mary survived her; son Daniel died of pneumonia in infancy.

James married Elita (Ballas) in 1940; died in 1995; 3 children Victoria married John E. Weaver in 1959, who was the
father of 5 her children, (Cathaline, Julie Elizabeth, Ann Marie, John David, Elizabeth Ann), divorced in the 1980's and
married Wilbur Griffin in the 1990's, resides in Holt; James II, married Judy Davis sometime around 1962, 4 children,
(Kelly Marie, Becky Dionne, Nicholas James, Rocky James.), James II died in 1997; Jamie (E. William) Emerick, 4
children; (Steven James, Mary Angela, Daniel John, Mary Jennifer.), resides in Lansing.

The Rose and Anthony you found were not Gloria's aunt and uncle, although there was an Aunt Rose (Carmen's sister), I do
not believe this is the one you have come across. The Aunt Rose married and her last name was Tushbandt. The Rose
Stornant you found was probably Gloria's cousin. This Rose never married, and was the sister to Anthony J., who was also
Gloria's cousin. This Rose died in 2002, and Anthony J. died in 2003. They had 6 siblings, Samuel, Victor, Joseph, Mary,
Hamm, and, you know, I can't remember their last brother's name.

I think that is all you asked for. Like I said, I sent an e-mail to Louise asking for the birth/death dates of Carmen and
Frances. I will pass the information on to you when I hear back.

E-mail #3. Sorry, I meant to say "the day we ate" at Carmen's, and Frances' maiden name is Sava not Save. Just reread what I wrote. Will let you know if I find any more boo-boos....
