I remember this reformatory. Many of the inmates that died were buried by the state and no headstones.

The Michigan Histoical Center and Library has an Archives section and they keep all the records of such thing. I went up and got Prison records for Ionia and Jackson prison. They will have them, I'm sure. If you are a distance away I would be happy to go check for you. I live in Lansing.
