I think I may have sent my roll call info to Pam by mistake --- I
haven't seen it in any of the recent mail list messages. I only have
one surname to research in Ionia Co.:
BOLSTER
Harris George Bolster and his wife, Mary Catherine Mertz
This couple farmed in PA and IL before coming to MI
Manchester, Washtenaw Co., in 1860. They moved to
Ionia Co. sometime between 1870 and 1880. Both are
buried at Green Cem., Orleans Twp. He d. in 1888 and
she d. in 1892.
Thomas Elliott Bolster (a.k.a. Elliott Thomas Bolster) was a
general store shopkeeper and butcher in the county. He
disappeared from Chadwick's Corners without a trace
about 1906, and his descendants still don't know where
or when he died. His wife and some of his descendants
are bur. at Green Cem.
Frank L. Bolster was a farm laborer, never married, and is
supposed to be bur. in Green Cem. (that's what is on
his
death cert.), but I was unable to find a marker or
burial
record for him at that cem. He d. in the early
1950's.
Thank you -- Sally (Bolster) Holcombe
