There are currently 5 Helgemo listings in the telephone directory.
There is a Helgemo Road in Bates Township, located just east of Iron
River, off US 2. You give no time period. What kind of information do
you need? Do you have anything at all on the gentleman?

You can also find a volunteer at the www.raogk.org site -- Candy has
easy access to courthouse records; Dale, cemetery information, and more
local (IR) information. The Museum has an extensive collection of
obituaries. The hours are very limited at the local museums just now
because of the winter months. Heating costs are high!
