I have recently found that one of my Springport ancesters had a child that we did not have documented in the family records. He shows up first in the 1860 census in the home of my GGG-GF Daneil Hedges Pierson. He is there again in the 1870 FC, and then in 1880 lives next door with wife Mary. John is shown in all years as being deaf-mute, and Mary shown the same in 1880. No census for 1890, then I lose them in 1900. I do not know if they had any children.

If there is anyone out there that knows of them, please help. I have the lineage of John's father Daniel all the way back to 1530 in Yorkshire.
