Thank you for the references. My Nathan(iel) was born in NY between ~1820. I also have the Lafayette Delamater & the Phil Delamarter references also.

To my best guess, my Nathan was the son of Stephen Delamater who resided in Madison County, NY until ~1850. I know that Nathan married Laura Owen 1/1/1840, at the bride's home in Sullivan, Madison County, NY.

Nathan, Laura, and at least 2 daughters moved to Auburn, Fond du Lac County, WI ~1847.

I am looking to prove Nathan is the son of Stephen Delamater.
