I'm curious about John Chambers. The John Chambers that I have was born in Ohio and died in Bellevue, Eaton county, MI
His second marriage was to Ruth Tenney- Rice- Norton. She was born in New York and married Henry Rice. THey lived in Jackson County - Grass Lake. He died and she married Nathan Norton. They split up after moving to Eaton County. She married John Chambers. I believe he had 3 or 4 kids with his first wife. Does this sound like the John in your family?
