A Jeremiah Brower of New York had at least three children: Samuel D. (1825-1892), Elkanah (spellings vary -- 1828-1915), and Hannah (1828-after 1910, married Orman Ganiord late in both lives) in New York State, and his wife Submit DRAKE Brower is shown as a widow on the 1850 census in Pulaski Twp., Jackson County, Michigan. I have Submit Drake's date of death and age from Michigan GENDIS (1805-1882).

I can find some people named Jeremiah Brower who are about the right age, but something in their personal histories contradicts the 1850 Census.

Samuel Brower is shown as the head of household in the 1850 Census, and his mother, brother, and sister follow. He is obviously not Submit Brower's husband!
