Mrs. Viola Kauska - 540 Fenimore, passed away Thursday evening May 4, 1972. Mrs. Kauska was born January 24, 1885 in Cape Garadeau (sic), Mo., and had been a resident here for 60 years. She was a member of the People's Church and the WBA. She was the widow of Edward Kauska. Surviving are: 2 daughters and one son, Mrs. Robert (Elizabeth) Friend, Mrs. Walter (Virginia) Riley both of Kalamazoo and William C. of San Antonio, Texas; 10 grandchildren; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren. A daughter, Mary Ann, preceded her in death in 1967. Memorial services will be held Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the Langeland Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St., with Mr. Roger Greeley officiating. Interment in Riverside Cemetery. The family suggests that memorials may be made to the People's Church Memorial Fund.
