Mr. Frank P. Kavanaugh Sr., 2428 Carlyle, passed away Monday (June 12, 1972) evening at his residence. Mr. Kavanaugh was born June 6, 1896, in Chicago and had been a resident here for the past 51 years. He was the former owner of the Kavanaugh Insurance Agency and served in the Navy in World War I. Mr. Kavanaugh was a member of St. Augustine Cathedral, Third & Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus, formerly was Commander of the American Legion, a member of the Exchange Club, Past President of the Kalamazoo Association of Independent Insurance Agents and formerly was a member of the Holy Name Society and St. Vincent de Paul. He is survived by his wife, Hazel; 7 sons, Frank P. Jr., Dr. John and Dr. Thomas, all of Kalamazoo, Robert of San Diego, Calif., James of San Francisco, Calif., Dr. Phillip of La Jolla, Calif. and Dr. Daniel of Galesburg, Mich.; 20 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Donovan Funeral Home after 7 o'clock this evening!
, and after 3 p.m. Wednesday, where the rosary will be recited Wednesday evening at 8 o'clock. Funeral services will be held at St. Augustine Cathedral Thursday morning at 11 o'clock. Burial in Mt.
