Mrs. Eda M. Kavanaugh - 6083 Twilight, passed away suddenly Sunday (Sept 10, 1972) morning at Borgess Hospital. Mrs. Kavanaugh was born January 6, 1899, in Brady Township, the daughter of Peter and Hellena Ballman. She was a life resident of the Kalamazoo area. Mrs. Kavanaugh was a member of St. Mary's Church. Married to Bernard P. Kavanaugh, Sept. 30, 1919, who preceded her in death Sept 19, 1967. Surviving are one son, Bernard P. Jr. of Kalamazoo; 3 daughters, Mrs. Floyd (Helena) Bray of Portage, Mrs. Richard (Bernice) Merrill and Ms. Jane Kavanaugh, both of Kalamazoo; 2 sisters, Mrs. Mary Goretzka of Kalamazoo and Mrs. Rosie Flach of Mendon; 12 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
