Died Saturday, January 3, 2004. Stephen was born on August 31, 1954 in Kalamazoo, MI, the son of Arthur C. and Viva Ann (King) Hensell who survive him. Stephen was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Besides his parents he is survived by a son, Stephen Arthur Armstrong of Kalamazoo; brothers, Andrew G. Hensell and William Hensell, both of Kalamazoo; sister, Mary Ann (Marshall) Bannen of Grand Rapids; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Hoag Switzer, Galesburg Chapel, 145 W. Battle Creek St. with the Rev. James Dyke officiating. Interment at Fort Custer National Cemetery. Friends may call on the family at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. Those wishing to make lasting gifts in Stephen's memory may direct them to the American Cancer Society. www.langelands.com.
