Died January 4, 2004 at her residence. Carol was born July 24, 1938 in Kalamazoo, Michigan, the daughter of G. Harrison and Martha (Cizmadji) Skinner. She had been a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident, and was employed as an Analytical Research Chemist at the Pfizer Corporation for 10 years until her retirement. Previously she was instrumental in researching specialty products at the Oscar Mayer Corporation. She was preceded in death by her father, G. Harrison Skinner on July 23, 1983. She is survived by her mother, Martha Skinner of Englewood, Florida; a sister, Marilyn Jean Mavrinac of Englewood, FL; a niece, Jo (Ric) Downs of Palm Harbor, FL; great-nephew and niece, Samuel and Emily Downs; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 o'clock Friday at St. Martin Catholic Church, 5845 East W Avenue with the Rev. Fr. Thomas Martin, Celebrant. Visitation will be 5 - 7 p.m. Thursday at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. B!
urdick St. with a Scripture Service being offered at 6:30 p.m. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the charity of your choice. www.langelands.com
